LinkedIn reveals its new features

If there's any firm that understands the power of presentation, it's LinkedIn. Because to develop better connections with potential employees and colleagues, someone has to be so creative and designed in its way so LinkedIn just rolled over its new makeover, which is more like Facebook in looks and features.

LinkedIn, the Microsoft-owned company and linchpin of business-oriented-networking, calling its debut designing as ‘biggest redesign since inception’, the new version, introducing simpler and better features looks a lot like a mobile app, because 60% of their traffic comes from mobile, says the company.

The new LinkedIn homepage is designed to be easy and simple, so you can get to the most frequent stuff you might be trying to do, promptly. The bar across the top that shows you actions you can take is more prominent than in the old design. Messaging has now become pop-up messaging; now you can send and receive messages while scrolling and checking the website.

With first glance, LinkedIn looks cleaner and less jumbled, unlike the old cluttered architecture. The Home Page consists of the News Feed up front and center, and all the navigation options are located on the top right. The navigation bar on the desktop has been cut down into seven core areas – Home (Your Feed), Messaging, Jobs, Notifications, Me, My Network, and Search.

Professional social networking company LinkedIn that holds users more than 106 million was excited while revealing the new looks because it hadn’t changed since 2012 and that too wasn’t a huge change. They promise to be intuitive and simpler network than ever before. The blog, published by LinkedIn says,

“Our goal is to ensure you can seamlessly access the most relevant professional conversations, content, and opportunities whether you’re on our mobile app or on our desktop experience. Most importantly, this desktop redesign brings conversations and content to the heart of the platform, so you can more easily share ideas, join a discussion, and discover news and topics you care about.”

So if you haven’t logged into your LinkedIn network today, go ahead and grab your potential clients and jobs even more in smooth ways.
