Online TV iFlix is now available in Pakistan

Watching the successful example of Netflix Pakistan, now, iFlix has also launched in Pakistan. iFlix, a Malaysian-based online streaming firm, has been operational officially aimed to target the local market.  It was probably the most anticipated launch of 2017 for Pakistan from the day when last year in March the owners had hinted about its launch in Pakistan and appointed a general manager. Later the news was confirmed in September 2016.

With an amount of 300 PKR per month, users can avail the video-on-demand service including local, Hollywood, Bollywood, and Korean. As of now, iFlix is offering free one month trial and won’t be charging anything even if they unsubscribe after enjoying free trial.

iFlix is accessible on five of users’ devices. Services will be available on smartphones, desktop PCs, tablets, laptops or Television. To subscribe the service people only have to visit the iFlix’s website and sign up. After signing up they can access the content.

local TV drama series like “Mann Mayal,” “Bin Roye,” “Udaari, Zara Yaad Kar,” “Pakeeza,” “Gul e Rana,” “Maan,” “Kaisay Tum Se Kahoon,” “Vasl,” “Mol and many others were available on the eve of its launching after a deal with Hum TV, Pakistan’s leading drama entertainment channel.

International shows available include every episode of “Friends,” “The O.C.” and “Gossip Girl,” and nine seasons of “Big Bang Theory.” Other shows include “The Flash,” “Arrow,” “Gotham,” “2 Broke Girls,” “The 100,” “The Last Ship,” “Person of Interest,” “The Originals,” “Pretty Little Liars,” “Mr. Robot” and “The Magicians.”

Operated by Malaysia, Iflix has contacted with top studios of the world to provide online TV in Pakistan. According to the claim by the company, nearly 160 studios have agreed to become partners and distributors of the newly streaming service in Pakistan including Paramount, Fox, CBS, Warner Bros, Disney etc.

A competitor to Netflix, iFlix is going to make available the streaming from all over the world irrespective of regions and boundaries while Netflix offers to stream for some specific regions.

Before going operational in Pakistan, iflix had launched its operating footprints in eight different countries; Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Brunei, the Maldives.
