Upgrade Your Phone or Say GoodBye to Whatsapp

It’s always hard to say goodbye to your friends on Whatsapp but just imagine if you will have to say goodbye to Whatsapp permanently? I am sure we all won’t let it happen so upgrading our phones to advanced models is necessary before June 2017, if you are using an older version of Smartphone; Android, iOS or Windows Phone. 
It’s been announced earlier this year that Facebook-owned popular messaging app Whatsapp will stop working by the end of 2016 on the devices that don’t have upgraded features. Though, the ownership has decided to extend the service until June 30, 2017.
According to the story published by The Mirror, WhatsApp, with above one billion month to month clients, was losing marketing with more established phones in technology advancement. There is news that Whatsapp is doing these changes as these outdated devices restrict the growth of the app by not supporting the latest features.
"While these cell phones have been a critical piece of our story, they don't offer the sort of capacities we have to extend our app's mechanism later on. As we look forward to our next seven years, we want to focus our efforts on the mobile platforms the vast majority of people use." the report said, citing a representative from WhatsApp.
"For iPhone users, WhatsApp will end functioning on any iPhone 3GS and will also stop being maintained on any widget running iOS 6.
The service will also discontinue on any first, second, third or fourth generation iPad that has not been updated. Users are required to renew toward iOS 9.3 to utilize the service. Cell phones or tablets working on Android 2.1 or 2.2 operating system will not be carried at the end of the year.
WhatsApp will stop operating at Windows 7 running gadgets and if you have still Windows 7, you have to renew the gadget as quickly as feasible with a specific end goal to utilize the service.
Yet, WhatsApp is providing support for BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40 and Nokia Symbian S60 until June 30, 2017.
