Similar to all the sports in Pakistan, cycling is also a neglected affair. Government of Pakistani does not support cycling professionals at any level. Even students at a beginner level are also not supported for cycling. Apart from being just a sport, cycling is one of the best exercises for people. No matter what age group you belong, it is the best exercise you can do to keep yourself fit.
In order to promote cycling in Pakistan, government should form more cycling federations, where local cycling is promoted. Students and young cyclists should be encouraged to adopt cycling as a passionate hobby. They should be encouraged to participate in different kinds of competitions. For this, local level competitions should be organized with the help of different sponsors so that the sport is promoted.
