Movie Review: Finding Dory

After the smashing hit animated movie  Finding the Nemo, Finding Dory hits the international in June 2016. Nemo and his clown fish dad Marlin have reunited because this time, it is not the Nemo but Dory, which is going to get lost in the sea to be found.

Director Andrew Stanton and Angus MacLane have literally made the funny blue fish become the star of the show this time. She is as jolly as ever and similar to Nemo, it’s the childlike side of her character that makes her lost journey in the sea even more intriguing for the audience.

The strange character of Dory is plagued with the disease of short-term memory loss as she was in the first part. She knows that she has parents, who are lost but she does not know that how she could find them. In order to find her parents, she has to escape the marine institute and come to the open sea, after which, Marlin and Nemo realize that they have lost her.

The character of Dory is as kind as a soft heart. She befriends an octopus, who deep down wills to be as free as ever like her. Fear and loneliness are the major themes of the story. Along with these themes, the entire movie is filled with humor, heart and animation miracles. The movie leaves all the Nemo fans thrilled and become a fan of Dory as well. Finding Dory is an animated must-watch for the year 2016!
