10 Reasons why you do not feel Healthy in Ramzan

Ramzan is the holy month where people fast and pray. However, in the midst of all this, most of the people complain about being unhealthy or feeling not so active as usual in Ramzan. Following are the 10 major reasons, why you may feel like this during Ramzan, you should know them all in order to avoid doing them to stay healthy during Ramzan:

  1. You are fasting without proper Sehri meal. Sehri is the beauty of Ramzan. If you are fasting without it, you are not fasting correctly and so it has its adverse effects on your health too.
  2. Lying down immediately after Iftar and Sehri meals. This further accelerates gastric issues in the body.
  3. Sleeping in breaks rather than sleeping in a regular manner. Try to have 3 hours sleep at the night and 3 in the afternoon.
  4. Overeating in Iftar meal.
  5. Drinking water immediately after breaking the fast in higher quantities. This decreases sodium level in the body.
  6. Staying outdoors for hours. Being in the heat makes you more dehydrated.
  7. Not eating balanced diet food in Iftar and Sehri meals. Your meals should have portions for every required body nutrient.
  8. Doing heavy workouts or exercises. Walking can be the best exercise you should do in Ramzan.
  9. Too much mental stress. Staying happy reduces stress.
  10. Too many physical activities. Your job and homes chores should get softer in Ramzan.
