Pakistan’s Solar Kids

The world cannot imagine that after solar cells and solar batteries, one day we could identify solar human beings as well, right here in Pakistan. This is true. Rasheed, Shoaib and Illyas are the three kids in Quetta, which are declared as “Solar Kids” by the doctors because they become completely paralyzed during the night time. Although these children did not show any signs of weakness or abnormality but they tend to become completely inactive during the night time whereas, they turn out to be fully charged during the day time.

According to the professional and qualified medical experts at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), these kids are normal; they are only suffering from a specific kind of disease that makes them inactive during the night time. These medical professionals are sure that they will be able to find out the reason behind this disease and treat it.

From a very long period of time, these innocent kids have suffered from strange symptoms. These strange symptoms made them stay alive in the daylight but as soon as the sun set, their bodies became dysfunctional and they used to become half dead. Their families have also adopted this lifestyle and so they become happy with every sunrise but very sad with every sunset.

Now that medical staff of PIMS has assured that these kids can be treated, their father is hopeful that he shall have his kids full of life once again like normal kids 24 hours a day.
