Stay Healthy this Winter!

Winter is round the corner in Pakistan, mostly affecting the areas in Khyber Pukhtunkhua and Punjab. With all the happy moments associated with winter, you need to have some concerns over health and fitness for this season too.

If you are in any northern part of Pakistan, living or on vacations, skiing is the most preferable sport cum exercise you should do. With tons of ice under your feet, grab you skis and be ready to crush it with full energy. This activity is both fun and very healthy for your body. It requires almost all the muscles of your body to relax and allowing maximum blood pump. Instead of going for swimming or running, this is the most appropriate exercise you can try in winters. Do not forget to wear skiing helmet for your safety.

Drink as much soup as you can! It is one of the best and simple health tips that could be given for this winter in Pakistan. You can try cooking soups more than other items in winter. For this purpose, use all the winter vegetables, eggs, and meat stock. You can add taste to your soup with pepper, spices or salts but having these basic ingredients will boost your energy and immune system to tolerate cold weather immensely.

Winter makes you lazy in consuming water. However, you should fight by being active in at least drinking as much water as you can because every glass strengthens your immune system to fight bacteria and viruses that can be readily caught in this weather, especially by kids.
