Economic Future Planning for Pakistan

In a recent meeting with government sectors and finance ministry, government representatives displayed their confidence over the immensely improvised macroeconomic parameters, which will readily provide a forum for growth-oriented economic policies for the future budget of the country.

The government also conducted an interactive session with the leading foreign investment sector of Pakistan by visiting the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI). This meeting was organized to discuss the taxation proposals for the 2016-2017 federal budgets. Up till now, what has been derived is that foreign investment is going to get improved in the coming year.

The present government of Pakistan is focused on increasing the level of FDI in the country keeping in mind Pakistan’s economic potential. One of the biggest game changers for Pakistan’s economy is China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This project will not only give economic backing to the nation but it would also be very beneficial for the people of Pakistan.

Along with all these developments, the government should also try to make tax amendments. These amendments are much needed to give people relief. With rising inflation and other economic changes, there have been various economic classes in Pakistan. In order to give relief to the middle classes and poor sectors, the government had to reduce GST in the upcoming budget.

Due to the substantial improvement in the IT infrastructure, various available databases would help in the identification of new taxpayers. This would also help in identifying different issues of the taxpayers.
