Being Too Sedentary

Almost all the job natures in the present world promote sedentary behavior. People in the past used to say that sedentary behavior is associated with relaxation and spare time, whereas today, every job is based on prolonged sitting position, which is not at all good for physical and mental health.

Recent health study suggests that prolonged sitting behavior leads to the risk of obesity, heart disease and even premature death. Surprisingly, it is being suggested that around 3.8% of all the death causes in the world are due to daily sittings of more than 3 hours! Almost all the people are going crazy with this health research because most of us today usually sit more than 3 hours daily for work in offices.

With the development of this research study, doctors have also suggested that risk of prolonged sittings can be minimized if people can make their daily sitting time less than 3 hours. This can be worked as if instead of spending 13 to 14 hours in a sitting position at the office, you should spend 7 or 6 hours.

There can be fitness tips, which can make your work lifestyle less sedentary. Even if you have an indoor job, try to go outdoors for as many office tasks as possible. It keeps you fit and also refreshes your mind. Secondly, even if you have extension phones at your office, try to move from your seat and walk towards your colleague to drop important messages. These tips can make you less sedentary at work!
